Chapter 38: The Disappearance of Alexis Patterson

May 4th 2002, 7 year old Alexis Patterson gets up and gets ready for school. she walks the half block with her step father to the corner and the crossing guard helps her cross the street, after which she heads into her school's playground where she'd wait for class to start. At 3 PM when school lets out for the day,  Alexis never comes home. In fact, she never made it to class at all that day.
