• Gary is a retired 30 year law enforcement veteran and is the son of a police officer who was murdered in the line of duty while he was in the 3rd week of police academy training. Despite this horrific tragedy, Gary continued with his training, graduated with his class, and began his law enforcement career.
• Gary is a retired Counter Terrorism Task Force Commander, with the California Dept. of Justice. Gary served in the L.A. FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force from 1999 to 2008. In 2008 Gary was deployed to Iraq as an embedded civilian counter-terrorism/organized crime advisor with the US Army’s 10th Mountain Div., IED-Defeat cell.
• MEDIA: Gary was recently a guest on the nationally syndicated daytime talk show “Daily Blast Live,” (see links below). Gary has also been a guest on over 26 podcasts including Cleared Hot with Andy Stumpf, Former Action Guys, Gold Shields, Game of Crimes, Criminal Justice Evolution, Things Police See, The Protectors, Street Cop Training, War Stories Official, Failure to Stop and many others. Gary is the author of new thriller novel Outside the Wire, A Novel of Murder, Love and War, which was recently featured on the entertainment TV show EXTRA.
• During his 30-year career, Gary served in a variety of assignments, including counter- terrorism, major narcotics, organized crime intelligence, government corruption, internal affairs, and was also a firearms and tactics instructor. Gary also worked on several high-profile cases such as the O.J Simpson case and the Billionaire Boys Club investigation.

o How he coped with the murder of his father and later sought assistance with PTSD and other issues arising from that tragedy, as well as the importance of seeking professional help.
